The first course, Legal Writing: Business Communication for Lawyers, will be made available for free on Thursday 23rd June 2022, and aims to demystify legal jargon, phrasing and antiquated terminology. Participants will receive an online certificate from the UK MOJ and continuous professional development points.

This self-paced course is produced for the UK MOJ by the Africa Legal Learn team in collaboration with Clifford Chance. It includes discussion forums to enable learners to meet and engage with others on the course virtually. Participants will “learn by doing” via case studies and exercises, and by hearing from leading legal influencers including Jennifer Mbaluto (partner at Clifford Chance), Ronald Mutasa (partner at Manokokre Attorneys) and Sherisa Rajah (Global Labor & Employment Counsel at Vista).
