ALN Kenya has announced the appointment of Nicole Gichuhi as a partner in their Real Estate & Construction practice and Jeremy Muyela as a director in the Forensics, Risk and Compliance practice. They take up their new roles on 1 January 2023.

Gichuhi has over ten years’ experience and has been with the firm for over eight years. She has represented some of the leading players in the real estate industry in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa. Her experience includes advising clients on land use planning, zoning and user restrictions, and environmental matters involving properties in Kenya. She was ranked in the Chambers & Partner 2022 guide as an Associate to Watch, and as a Rising Star by Legal 500.

Muyela is an investigation, governance, risk and compliance specialist with over fifteen years’ experience. His expertise includes financial accounting, finance, risk management and forensic investigations. He has successfully guided organisations in addressing proactive and reactive matters involving fraud and other types of corporate misconduct. Muyela’s experience cuts across various industries. He has worked with clients in East, South and West African regions, the Caribbean, and the US.
With an MSc in Corporate Finance, a BSc in Business and Management, and as a Certified Public Accountant, Muyela’s contribution has been vital in growing the Forensics, Risk and Compliance practice for ALN.
